Shopping
I hate shopping on a good day, let alone with chemo tiredness. Luckily someone reminded me of the Intehweb.
I ordered a bra, size huge, hope it fits, whatever. Some really pretty head scarfs. Some shorts. A concert DVD that was sitting in my shopping cart already.
Yay, stuff in the mail next week.
I could get addicted to that kind of shopping! I know there are even grocery stores that deliver now . . .
Surprises in the mail are so much more fun than doing the pick-up on your own.
Now the scarves have me wondering what you look like, since I can’t imagine a face . . .
My wife did a lot of catalog shopping while on chemo (cisplatin), discussed it with other patients at the oncologists office. It seemed to be a common side-effect or an aspect of chemo-brain.
It is a good distraction… Thanks for stopping by… and I’m sorry for your loss (if I put two and two together correctly. My logic is not solid today and my poetry reading muscle is out of whack at the moment.)
Hugs
