Everybody’s doing it…
The rules, they are as follows:

1. Go to your pictures file.
2. Go to the 4th file.
3. Go to the 4th picture.
4. Post it and tell the story.
5. Tag 4 more people. (I’m skipping this part, so there :)

gg

The story: on our annual pilgrimage for bluegrass music, hippies and camping, one year we stopped in Gilroy (home of the Garlic Festival) and visited Gilroy Gardens. It’s a combination of garden and kid’s theme park. We didn’t bring any kids but we went on some of the rides anyway. I think this picture is from this area:
Rainbow Garden

It was fun. It was a bit pricey and we might not go back, but if a person lived in the area and had kids it might be worth a membership.

    The Garlic festival.

Wow. I guess no nearby cities had Garlic spoken for already. Paprika and Sage Festivals were already taken?

I’d like to go to a champagne festival. Is that possible? Or an artichoke one?

    MTAE:
Hey the Garlic festival is a big deal! Gilroy is famous! People drink garlic wine and pretend to like it! It’s crazy. It’s a big tourist trap on the highway and it’s actually kind of cool. And they have bathrooms. I don’t think they grow as much garlic around there anymore due to White rot.

    deriguer:
    Google says:
Results 1 – 10 of about 6,490,000 for champagne festival california.
So I think so! But oh my god wait, look at this

Let me know how it is! and thanks for stopping by :-D

And I’ve been through Gilroy during the growing season. If you drive through with the windows open you can smell the garlic.
