Maybe Monday?
Monday of next week, which was not a day the surgeon planned to work at all, is now probably my surgery day. So…. I guess maybe they don’t suck. This will work out well with the days that work is forcing us to take off (and use vacation.)
That would be good; I will keep my fingers crossed for you. Did you mean that work makes you use holiday time as vacation? I hope not!

We get two paid days for Christmas and two paid days for NY. This year, we also have to take off the three days in between those, because they are closing this place down. We have to either take vacation, sick time or no pay.
I will be using the whole thing, plus a few extra days next week, for recovery time, and I have enough vacation to cover it.
