Stress was a good bet, but if it was stress it was never gonna go away :-p so I'm voting for the lanolin (see next blog.)
I've had a little fun lately, though. I hope you have some too.

Sounds like it's just a little stress... and a little more stress, and then some stress, and a bit of stress, and stress on top of stress on top of...

It's amazing what stress will do to the body. And somehow it finds the worst possible thing to put you through. Which of course adds more stress.

I prescribe fun. A fun night, a fun weekend, whatever you can squeeze in. Maybe it'll work, maybe it won't, but in the meantime you'll have fun, and that can't be all bad.

The oncologist and radiation docs say it's nothing to do with that stuff. The "regular doctor" looked, said "yup you got a rash" and gave me a shot in the butt, which did nothing. The onc offered to refer me to a dermatologist but she also agreed they would tell me to do what I'm doing.... I may give up and go back to the regular doc soon. But, I think it's nerves exacerbated by an addiction to scratching. I can get addicted to *anything*...

Have you asked a doctor about it? I may be wrong, but I always thought that hives didn't last very long. Like, I thought they went away within a few hours. Or are there different types of hives? Anyway, that does suck and I hope it goes away. It would make sense if it was related to stress, I suppose.
